Steinbrenner and Jones Team Up In Stadium Concession Deal |
|
|
In 2009, both the Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees will be moving into brand new stadiums. While both franchises are never short in terms of revenue streams, owners Jerry Jones and George Steinbrenner have formed a partnership to handle merchandise sale and food and beverage concessions. Merchandise and concessions make up a significant portion of revenues for professional sports franchises. This, combined with other enhanced revenue streams such as tickets, television contracts, and parking will allow both owners to continue to operate with an almost endless budget.
