The Missouri Tigers are champions of the Big 12 North once again after the Texas Longhorns took care of the Kansas Jayhawks, and Mizzou beat the Iowa State Cyclones last weekend. This is the second straight year the Tigers have captured the North crown and they will look to win the program’s first Big 12 Championship on December 6th at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

While Chase Daniels and the rest of the Missouri football crew celebrate the achievement of back-to-back North titles, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, and Texas are still fighting it out for South Division supremacy. Perhaps the biggest Big 12 game this year will be the Texas Tech at Oklahoma game this Saturday in Norman. If the Red Raiders win they will likely play Missouri in the championship game. If Oklahoma wins, it will be anyone’s guess who slides into the championship game.

Despite the uncertainty of the Big 12 Championship game matchup, Missouri fans are excited. Many Tiger fans will make the short trip to Kansas City giving Mizzou a nice home field advantage.
