The Masters is a golf tournament played each April at the legnedary Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. The Masters consists of 3 practice round days, followed by a 4 day tournament. The actual Masters Tournament begins on Thursday and continues through Sunday. Only 90 PGA golfers are entered into the Masters field which is the smallest of any of the 4 major golf tournaments. The winner of the Tournament is presented with The Green Jacket, becomes an honorary member of the Augusta National Golf Club, and earns a lifetime invitation to the Masters. The famed Augusta National Golf Course contains features that are known around the World and is worth the price of admission on its own. Some of the challenging course features are Amen Corner, Raes Creek and the Eisenhower Tree and even each hole is given a name to reflect the natural beauty of the course. Perhaps even more exciting for Masters fans are the world class concession stands featuring thei famous pimento cheese and the Masters Club Sandwhich. Whats even greater is the fact that the drink and sandwhichs are very affordable- all you need is a few dollars for a sandwhich, 50 cents for a lemonade, and just $2-3 for a beer.
