The Ryder Cup is one of the premiere events in professional golf.  The Ryder Cup was first played in 1927 and took place in the United States.  This event pits teams from the United States and Europe in "Ryder Cup Matches".  The Ryder Cup alternates its location every two years between the golf courses in the U.S. and Europe.  Eurore has won the last 3 Ryder Cups (2006, 2004, 2002), with the United Stats wining last in 1999.
