The Counting Crows are an alternative rock band from Berkeley, California. Counting Crows gained popularity in 1994 after the release of their debut album ""August and Everything After."  Their hit single "Mr. Jones" got record radion airplay. Adam Duritz and Counting Crows have been compared to  Van Morrison, R.E.M., Nirvana, Bob Dylan, and The Band.
