Jack Hody Johnson, a native of Hawaii, was born on May 17th 1975.  The singer-songwriter, musician, filmmaker, and surfer achieved commercial success and a faithful following, after the release of Brushfire Fairytales in 2001 (his debut album). Jack Johnson's music is best described as acoustic/soft rock/adult alternative.
