Fall Out Boy is a rock band that was established in 2002. The band was formed just outside Chicago, Illinois. Fall Out Boy has four primary members: Patrick Stump, Pete Wentz, Joe Trohman, and Andy Hurley. Stump is the lead singer and plays the guitar. Wentz plays the bass guitar and sings backup vocals. Trohman is the lead guitar player. And Hurley is the drummer.

Fall Out Boy is often categorized as a pop punk or alternative rock band. They have also been described as being "emo", which is described as a subgenre to hardcore punk. Fall Out Boy list some of their influences as Green Day, The Smiths and Descendents. Fall Out Boy has done numerous concert tours and their high energy stage show is hit with their fans.

Fall Out Boy has had some notable accomplishments in their music career. Fall Out Boy's 2006 song "Dance, Dance" was featured in PS2's version of the game Dance Dance Revolution.
