Kenny Chesney is an extremely popular American country music singer-songwriter. He made his first record on Capricorn Records in 1993, Chesney has since recorded thirteen albums, eleven of which have been certified gold or higher by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Additionally, he has produced more than thirty Top Ten singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, thirteen of those reached Number One. Also, Chesney has received six ACM (including three consecutive Entertainer of the Year Awards), as well as three CMA awards. Chesney is also one of the most popular touring acts in country music. His 2007 Flip-Flop Summer Tour was the highest-grossing country road trip of 2007.

Chesney met Renée Zellweger in January 2005 and married her on May 9 of the same year, in Saint John, U.S. Virgin Islands. On September 15, 2005, after a mere four months of marriage, Zellweger filed for an annulment, claiming fraud as the reason. It was the first marriage for both.
